Watchmen is a limited series comic book (only twelve issues) published in 1986 by DC Comics and created by the trio constisting of Alan Moore, John Higgins, and Dave Gibbons. There are six main characters in the Watchem comic series. The Comedian, Doctor Manhatten, Nite Owl II, Ozymandias, Rorschach, and Silk Spectre II characters present radically opposite ways to look at the world.
Its 1985 and the wolrd is on the brink of a nuclear war and the entire human race is facing extinction. The watchmen are a group of retired costumed super heroes and vigilantes who have been forced to go silent by the government. The story begins with the murder of one of the characters the "The Comedian" and develops into an investigation to uncover the plot to kill and humiliate all present and past superheroes . Rorschach who still is and active vigilante and still posseses super powers connects with his former colleages to uncover this plot and stop the potential nuclear destruction.
Chose your favorite Watchmen character and get ready to revive your forgotten super powers. You can be the most intelligent Ozymandias ( a popular choice with kids and teens), the atomic superhero Dr. Manhattan, if you are female you can be the superheroine Silk Spectre, or the Mr. Nice Guy Nite Owl. If you are couple the lady can be Silk Spectre and the gentleman can be Nite Owl. Unfortunately, these costumes aren't available in child sizes.
