Today is the release of the 6th part of Harry Potter series (The Half Blood Prince) The author JK Rowling wrote a series of seven books about Harry Potter a courageous boy who finds out that he is a wizard and slowly makes friends and fights along with his friends against a great evil wizard of all times  "Lord Voldermort". His close friends are Hermoine Granger and Ron Weasley. His love interest is Ginny Weasley.

The first book "Harry Potter and Sorcerers stone" starts with Harry Potter learning that his parents are wizards and he has been admitted to the Best Wizard School "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" . There are 4 Houses at Hogwarts named after their founders. They are named Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.  Harry Potter is put in Gryffindor by Sorting Hat as he did not want to be in Slytherin which is famous for Dark Wizards.
He makes friends with Ron and Hermoine. Hermoine is very studious whereas Ron is very loyal. Harry is also selected as a Seeker in the Quidditch game that is played among the four houses. In this part he kills a part of Voldermort when the latter tries to find Sorcerers stone that serves an elixir for life.

The second book "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" starts with Harry Potter being warned by the house elf Dobby that his life is at risk if he returns to Hogwarts. During the school year at Hogwarts few people are petrified and the rumors are spread that the Chamber of Secrets is opened by the heir of Slytherin. During that time Harry finds a diary and starts communicating with the memory of "Tom Riddle". Tom tells Harry that he had closed the Chamber of secrets few years back when it was opened by Hagrid, Harrys friend and the current gate keeper of Hogwarts.
