Ron Weasley Costume

The phrase friend in need is friend indeed describes Ron Weasly aptly. A brave person and a loyal friend, Ron is the youngest son of the Pure Blood Weasley family. He is not only Harry best friend but also Hermione's. The trio are the central characters in the Harry potter series of books and movies. Even though he lacks some talent when it comes to magic, he more than makes up for it with  his bravery and expertise at the "Real Wizard's Chess". He strives to be good at the game of Quidditch but that doesn't always go  in his favor. Ron is scared of insects but that doesn't stop him from entering the forbidden forest due to his bravery. Even though Ron apals Hermione with his immature actions at times, she falls in love with him due to his sweet heart and bravery. His younger sister Ginny Weasley is Harry's sweetheart.

Ron dresses in the typical Gryffindor Costume which consists of the White Collared shirt, gray trousers, gray sweater, burgundy tie with yellow stripes, the Gryffindor Robe is a must. the gryffindor scraf is also one of the accessories you might want to consider. The Gryffindor robe also has the Gryffindor emblem on the chest. Ron has the trademark Weasley red  hair and frekles. These features make him easily identifiable as a Weasley kid. He "brandishes" a broken wand that he has been handed down by his elder brothers. The broken wand has a tendency to misfire frequently and the target turns out tobe himself. He has two pets mentioned in the books; a rat and an owl. Hi rat is named Scampers and is seen with Ron  until the end of "Prisoner of Azkaban."Later on he gets an owl named Pigwidgeon whom he calls "Pig" for short.  A stuffed rat or owl will go very well with the costume.

If you happen to get hold of an older used Gryffindor robe it all the better since Ron always wears his elder brothers hand-me down robes. A used robe will add authenticity to the costume.

If you have a good friend who is dressing up as Harry then dressing up as Ron can be nice idea for a halloween party.
