San Diego Comic Con 2009 Costumes

Comic-Con is the biggest fan convention for the nerdy, cool, geeky folks out there. It was founded as the Golden State Comic Book Convention  in the 70s. Its a four day event held during the warm California summer. Comic book fans, writers, celebrities and movie makers, all flock to this conference every summer. Some of the notable celebs seen so far are Tim Burton and Johnny Depp promoting the "Alice in Wonderland" movie, Seth Rogen, Megan Fox, Seth McFarlane, and Robert Downey, Jr.

A new poster for "Jonah Hex" was unfurled, offering a nice peek at stars Josh Brolin and Megan Fox. Fans also got the first look at the recently announced new "SuperMan: Red Son" comic.

Lately, the focus of comic-con has beein shifting towards becoming a showcase for large entertainment corporations and some fans are not too excited about it.
