G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra Movie and Costumes

The much anticipated G.I. Joe movie G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra was released this past weekend. There was some early negative buzz surround the release of this film on the Internet.  According to the post release reviews the G.I. Joe fans loved it but most of the critics gave failing grade to the movie. Some critics are attributing it to the poor plot while others blame the dismal acting of some of the actors in the movie and the almost comical action.  I think there is more to it. The noteworthy think is that the critics were denied access to the previews before the movie was released in theatres even though a selected group of G.I. Joe fans were given a sneak peak. I smell revenge? The movie displayed a lot of hi-tech spy/surveillance and military equipments and gadgets - eye candy  for the fan boys and girls. If you are not a hard core fan of the G.I. Joe theme then I would suggest  you wait for the DVD release.
